Preparation for Graduation.
Today was a very long day for us graduates.
I was already in school by 9AM and went with Gerald, Yeng and Robert to get our Academic Attire and pay for the photo coverage. The line was long but good thing, the system was very efficient so we didn’t queued that long. After sometime, I went back to Engwalk to meet up some of my friends waiting for the Recognition Rites. I miss them even though I’ve seen some of them few days back and talked to them over YM.
The Recognition rites was okay except the fact that I was called in front to receive a token of appreciation from the college of Engineering as the former College Assembly President. I didn’t expected that. I was even shocked when my name was called because I really have no idea what to do. I just went up the stage and shook the hands of all the chairs and dean’s. They gave me something. I haven’t checked it out yet.
After the recognition rites, we all stayed at the Amphitheater to have our break and had some picture taking. The Wengweng brothers went up to the SC office so July and Mel could register for the GREENovation. YAY! Complete kami ulit! Wohoo! I chatted with some of the SC officers for a while and then we went to the Most Blessed Sacrament for the Baccalaureate Mass. I was assigned to read something so together with Sherwin and Aimee, we stayed somewhere in front. We had some “spot session” while the graduates receiving their medals for outstanding thesis and honorable mention were called. Had a good laugh with the both of them.
After the mass, we decided to have our picture taken at the Amphitheater for a while. The CAPs with Aimee had a camwhoring session thanks to our photographer, Kat. I really some good time with them. When Aimee went to the conservatory for her class pictorial, Sherwin and I went to SLIFE to have some pictures with Ms. Macy, Ms. Eve and the rest of people who helped us get our Student Leadership Award. Had some few chats before I went down for our class picture. Since almost 50 ECE106 graduated this term, they had to split it into two so we had a pictorial for ECE106 and ECE105.
After the pictorial, we went back to STRC to rest for a while before the Graduation Rehearsal. Had some laughs with the boys and then left aroudn 5:20PM to go to the practice. It was really hot there! We took the stairs because the elevator was jammed with people.
The rehearsal went well. Oh, my Mom and Sis will be given special seats for graduation since I’ll be getting an award there. Yay! They don’t have to rush or anything. Yey!
Well, thats about it. Too tired to share it in detail but this is how my day went.
HAPPY. FULFILLED. CONTENTED.
