Since we were so busy this week and this is the only rest day I was able to have, I decided not to go to school and work on the thesis revision that we need for Monday. The Internet today was really crappy and all so I was really bored the entire day.
I slept around 11AM and when I woke up around 1:30PM, I saw one missed call coming from Lei. I wondered why she called. I went downstairs to have my lunch and then Lei called again. She asked me if they could go to my place today. Since the folks were gone and I was totally bored, I said yes.
2:30PM. An hour later. I thought that they wouldn’t go to my place since it was already an hour late. FYI, my house is only 10 minutes away from school. 5 if you’re fast. So I asked Rik if he could ask them since Globe was crappy today. He told me they were still going and so I waited.
3PM.
Someone rang our doorbell. I went out to get it and I was surprised with the number of people they were with. I thought it was just Lei, Caezelle and Jopee. I even said to Lei that, “Di mo naman sinabi na buong baranggay pala isasama mo sana naligo ako”. Yes, I wasn’t able to take a bath yet. I was the first one to come in and all of them followed.
Then they started singing. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. :)
I was really surprised because they brought pizza, nachos and my little cake with them. Actually it was banofee pie. Damn. That was the first time that I was surprised by my friends. First time they invaded my house. Everything was impromptu. Kung ano na lang yung meron.
After a few minutes, James called us up and asked for the right street, I told him the directions and then waited for him. I asked Lei to park her car in our garage so it would be safe and guess what? I saw James carrying some balloons with him and tried to hide it from me. :) LOL! Thank you, James.
We chilled for a while and the guys watched the game of UP vs. NU and UST vs. FEU’s first half.
